Why sponsor MPLS Homes 2026?
After opening Kyle Garden Square last fall, Alliance now owns 378 affordable homes in Minneapolis, with approximately 103 more in development. Of these, 167 homes include onsite supportive services provided by partner organizations. All Alliance housing is permanent, and a significant percentage of Alliance residents are defined as chronically homeless.
These homes are a vital part of Minneapolis as they allow each resident the opportunity to succeed in their lives. For Pat, success is getting off the street and the opportunity to show others the way to do the same. For Emily, success is a home for her family while she finishes her education and grows her income. For Efrain, success was initially a 1-bedroom apartment after exiting incarceration. Then it became a 2-bedroom so he would have a place to live with his son after obtaining custody. For Tyrone, success is the first home of his own in his late 50s after decades of homelessness.
At Alliance, we believe everyone deserves access to safe, stable, and affordable housing, and we work to provide those opportunities to residents of Minneapolis. Our annual fundraising breakfast, MPLS Homes 2026 is an essential part of sustaining our work. As a sponsor, you demonstrate your companies commitment to affordable housing and support providing homes for every resident of Minneapolis. Guests may enjoy networking with our board and staff as well as other nonprofit and business partners in the affordable housing sector. We anticipate approximately 200 guests.
