Join us Sunday, June 28th for a walk around the lake with Ben Olk, Alliance's Board Chair Emeritus, former educator, and self-described "History Geek" (a title lovingly bestowed by his children). Part neighborhood tour and part living history lesson, this won't be your average stroll!
You'll explore:
• The grand lakeside mansions and the families behind them
• How Minneapolis's housing story has evolved since the city's founding
• The urgent, ongoing work to ensure everyone has a place to call home in Minneapolis, including Alliance's own role in that story
Every dollar from ticket sales goes directly to Alliance's mission: providing deeply affordable homes for people who need them most.
Come for the history. Stay for the mission. Tickets start at $50, but additional donations are accepted.
