Alliance Executive Director on Housing in Action Podcast

On Thursday, August 7, Alliance Executive Director Jessie Hendel appeared on a live recording of Housing in Action’s Reclaiming Home podcast. A partner organization providing their own deeply affordable housing in Minneapolis, Housing in Action describes the podcast as “delivering thoughtful conversation and tangible actions to make housing justice a reality in our communities.”

For this very first live recording, Housing in Action brought together local housing leaders for a deep dive on housing justice in the area. Jessie was joined on the podcast by PPL’s Karla Henderson, PRG’s Kirstin Burch, Model Cities’ Kizzy Downie, and Hope Community’s Will Delany. Housing in Action’s AsaleSol Young moderated the discussion, which you can watch/listen to here:

The conversation was wide-ranging and deep, highly recommended for anyone interested in local housing, and at 75 minutes just the right length to listen to but too much to summarize in a brief newsletter article! So, give the podcast a listen, and join us at the MPLS Homes 2025 breakfast where AsaleSol Young and Will Delany will join us for further discussion of the current moment in affordable housing!
