MPLS Homes 2026 - Meet Our Panelists
Meet our MPLS Homes 2026 panelists
Each year, our panel conversation is a highlight of MPLS Homes. For 2026, we're excited to hear directly from three Alliance residents about how stable, affordable housing has shaped and changed their lives.
Before you join us on September 24, take a moment to meet the three people sharing their stories from the stage.
P.S. Haven't RSVPed yet? Register today and we’ll see you there!
Emily
If you were at our 2023 breakfast, you might remember Emily and her family from the video! Since then, Emily has gone on to serve on our board and fundraising committee and now works on staff as our Property Management Administrative Assistant. Her perspective spans resident, board member, and staff, and we’re excited for her to bring her unique viewpoint to the panel.
Tim
One of the first residents to move into Kyle Garden Square, after previously living at 3301 Nicollet, Tim has helped build community there since the first day he moved in. From hosting resident group meetings to helping start a meditation group, Tim is constantly working on behalf of his new neighbors. A musician and former basketball coach in Sweden, Tim has plenty of stories to tell, he’ll bring firsthand insight into what makes a building feel like home.
Greg
Currently living at Gateway Lofts, Greg first moved into an Alliance property 20 years ago in 2006, and since then has lived in nearly every type we offer. Along the way, stable housing helped make possible his career in security at the University of Minnesota, where he’s had the chance to escort Brett Favre, Queen Latifah, and Mick Jagger. Greg will bring both his experience of how Alliance has changed over the years, and the change stable housing has made in his life.
Let’s Build Long-Term Stability, One Home at a Time
All who engage in strengthening Alliance are equally valued, whether donor, volunteer, public advocate, board member, resident, or staff, your involvement directly supports safe, dignified housing for those facing the greatest barriers.
